Hi everyone!
Since the release of the Blueprints update, we’ve been focused on another major update to address your main feedback.
This includes the highly requested Sandbox mode, a new system to reveal islands, the Gatherer building (enabling ant pathfinding), and various improvements and fixes (see the full patch notes below).

Sandbox Update - Full Patch Notes:
Added a new system to reveal islands, by giving materials to the radar tower, makes it possible to reveal more islands.
Ancient Ruins can be found on revealed islands, which can be repaired with ants and materials to gain new unlocks.
Added the gatherer building, which enables ant path finding, unlocked via ancient ruins.
Added the generator building, which can convert fiber or biofuel into energy.
New game now start on a giant blue meadows island.
Reworked the tech tree, to make it more clear and logical.
Rebalanced tech tree inventor points costs.
Moved some unlocks from the tech tree to the ancient ruins system.
Ability to track progress of a specific building with a new UI element (hotkey G).
Increased the lifespan of most ant castes.
Added sandbox mode.
Added ant spawner building for sandbox mode.
Added material spawner building for sandbox mode.
Reduced the cost of slingers.
Changed the cost of iron foundation, now costs iron instead of iron plate.
Updated "Not enough points" messages in the tech tree to be more specific.
Zooming now goes towards the mouse position.
Improved performance.
Fixed a bug with the 'H' shortcut.
"Build radar" instinct objective is repeated when opening older saves to make sure players don't miss building the new one.
Increased tech tree line visibility.
Fixed being able to select an inventor ant on a pad with drag select.
Fixed slingers and catapults not checking assigned buildings after relocating.
Fixed an issue causing a broken savegame.
