Malpractice Patch Notes — October 29, 2024

Introduction
I'm excited to announce the release of my game Malpractice! Its been a LONG road and I'm happy to finally have the game available for people to play. I also wanted to thank all my supporters and those of you who helped participate in the demo. The game wouldn't be what it is today without all the great feedback provided.
Updated Features
Malpractice's full version includes a variety of extra puzzles and entities for the players to experience. Due to some feedback, some of the features from the demo have been reworked as well.
- Completed Map: The Demo only included 1 floor of the hospital to explore. There are now 2 additional levels to the hospital.
- New Entities: An additional 3 Entities have been added.
- Checkpoint System: Added checkpoints throughout the game to allow people to pick up where they last left.
- Lore: New information about the lore of the game spread throughout the hospital.
- Quality Of Life: Hotkey and scroll wheel item switching.
General Changes
- Optimizations: While trying to ship a game using Unreal Engine's Lumen Lighting Technology isn't easy, I've managed to achieve 60fps performance on most cards. I expect to bee rolling out more updates within the week to address further optimizations to ensure a smooth performance for all players.
- Bugs: All bugs brought up during the demo have been fixed.
Continued Feedback
I expect there to be additional bugs now that more people will be playing the game. Please post about any bugs you encounter in the discussion forum. I also welcome people to give any additional feature requests or critiques.
