We’re excited to announce that Malice, our co-op escape room Japanese horror game, is getting an update and will be retitled as "Escape: Malice".
This launch will come as a free update for the existing Malice Steam app.
Current owners will receive this update at no extra cost.
The rebuilt version includes reworked networking, updated puzzle mechanics, new story scenes, improved audio and visuals, a brand new user interface, and various major bug fixes.
Instead of releasing the entire game at once, Escape: Malice will be published in an "act-by-act episodic" format.

As before, for those familiar with the original, the game follows two characters as they descend into a cursed supernatural mystery rooted in fire, guilt, ritual, and Jigoku (地獄).
What begins as an escape from a haunted house becomes something far worse: a journey through the suffering and malice left behind by the long and vengeful dead.
