Update 1.00.11 Release Notes
Visual enhancements
Texture resolution, draw distance, and Mesh Level Of Detail settings have been significantly increased for players using the “high” quality settings. This results in visual improvements across all areas of the game.
Gameplay
A hints system has been added to the campaign. NODE will now give brief text-based hints to players if they get stuck in various puzzles or encounters. We added hints to all areas of the game that players have reported as being confusing or unclear, through the Steam community discussions or game reviews.
We’ve fixed issues in the rooftop section of the Paris mission where players would find it difficult or impossible to progress.
Fixed an issue where the smooth turn function would not correctly rotate the player.
Multiplayer Fixes
We’ve made significant improvements to the movement and collision logic for ‘client’ players in coop multiplayer sessions. Gameplay now feels much smoother for ‘client’ players. Many collision, movement and ‘out of world’ issues will no longer occur for ‘client’ players.
Fixed an issue where if a player joins a multiplayer game 2 times in the same play session, they will be unable to teleport, open the menu or grip items.
VR Headset / Controller support
We’ve added official support for the HP Reverb G2 headset & controllers. Note that the latest Windows 11 OS no longer supports Windows Mixed Reality headsets, including the HP Reverb G2. Killing Floor: incursion supports Windows Mixed Reality headsets on Windows 10 via official drivers, and on Windows 11 via the free “Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality” which must be downloaded on Steam and configured by the player.
Fixed an issue where players using the Valve Index controllers where certain movement inputs would occasionally not be recognised.
Fixed an issue where the feature that allows players to adjust their facing direction while teleporting would not correctly function for players using SteamVR.
Crash Fixes
Fixed an issue where KFI would crash occasionally for players using Virtual Desktop, since correct Virtual Desktop support was introduced in our previous update 1.00.11.
Fixed an issue where KFI could crash if the player was holding down the menu button as they joined a coop multiplayer lobby.
