HOUND: AUTOMATON Patch Notes — November 1, 2024
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
It has been almost two weeks since HOUND: AUTOMATON launched. As the initial buzz fades, we're excited to revitalize the game with a new update featuring two new maps and interactive objects. We've also tweaked the nighttime lighting to enhance the gameplay experience. Let's dive into the major changes:
New Maps
Office
This fully interior map offers sneaky hiding spots throughout, designed to run smoothly on lower-end systems. The Office features numerous doors that can be opened to play mind games with the Hound.

Dockyard
We aimed to capture the warehouse map's style and character with this new addition. The Dockyard boasts many buildings to climb and hide in, surrounded by a forest that provides excellent escape routes.

Moonlight Update
We've brightened the night to create a more moody atmosphere. While shadows and dark spots can still be used as hiding spots, the improved visibility enhances overall gameplay. Night and day experiences remain distinct, offering varied strategies.

Interactable Objects
The new maps and the factory now feature doors and other interactive objects that you can use with as the default binding. We've also added functioning elevators to some maps.
Doors
We believe these updates will add depth to the gameplay and provide fresh experiences for all players. Thank you for your continued support, and happy hunting!
