Added The Grand Inventor's Caves Trial to Bossdome
- Featuring a brand new encounter with souped up Robot's Best Friends plus something else
- And the usual new item unlocked by beating it on HARD
Other Bossdome changes
- The Altarator will now freeze the player in place during its spawn animation to prevent cheap shots caused by the player falling off the platform during the intro scene
- Platforms in the Snowhenge Trial and Abandoned Oil Mines Trial levels can now be jumped up through*
- Fixed text in control tips detailed mode and slider menus being completely scrambled during a Bossdome run
- Made Bossdome Altarator phase 2 more lenient with its damage and platforming*
- Rebalanced some other bosses' damage
- Fixed Bossdome gates showing hover text during death scenes
- Added a new Bossdome exclusive item "FATHER'S BLESSING" to replace the Father's granting extra max HP in between levels in a standard run
Item changes
- "INNOCENT DIE" has been reworked to give a flat boost rather than a random boost to various damage sources, and weapons have been fixed to properly take it into consideration
- "VIAL OF DROUGHT" has been buffed
- Bricks beyond 200 currently active will be totally invisible (but still do damage) for performance
- Bricks no longer proc themselves
- Renamed "REFLECTIVE GLACIALITY" to "ICE LENS"
- "ICE LENS" now only increases bounce damage boost, with extra bounces being separated into new item "GIANT BOUNCY BALL"
- Separated movement speed from "PILLAR FRAGMENT" to new item "SHOELACES", with "SHOELACES" now being limited in Bossdome instead of "PILLAR FRAGMENT"
- Separated jump height from "BOOTS OF THE MONGREL" to new item "HEADSET", with the boots still banned for TiN_kAAn (he's already immune to fall damage) and "HEADSET" being banned in Bossdome instead of the boots
- Separated reload cooldown from "BULLET WORM" to new item "ION CHAMBER", buffed both and fixed the availability being restricted to Dawn and Joe only
- Added 3 new items (besides the aforementioned "FATHER'S BLESSING" and the ones that just have a previously existing effect that has now been separated from its original item)
Weapon changes
- Added controls for cycling weapons left and right, defaulting to \ and respectively
- TiN_kAAn's Remote Detonator bombs, Joe's reflectors, and The \[?L3peR?] no longer appear to take damage
- TiN_kAAn's Remote Detonator bombs no longer deal passive contact damage
- Joe's reflectors will destroy old reflectors when placed, allowing only a total of however many can be placed by both versions of the ability at full ammo
- Reduced Joe's base maximum bounces
- Reduced the volume on placing a bomb with Remote Detonator, and prevented it from blowing up falsely upon exiting the level
- Rebalanced some weapon's proc coefficients
- Gave Dawn's rifle a very slight spread
Level changes
- Fixed some liquid bodies not being as wide as the level
- Added another way to die in an interlude level for the unlock/achievement
- Fixed The \[?L3peR?] not spawning in the correct place in a lot of cases
- Ejection (return to spawn point) is now allowed in standard interlude levels
- Added Bossdome variants of title themes
- Title themes can now be forcefully selected
- Fixed up the background in the Dying Paradise title theme
- Smoothed out the blocks spelling out "HALVED" in the Standard title themes
Visual/textual/UI changes
- Touched up sound menu and added a master volume control
- Updated several Inventor's Caves sprites to look better
- Shifted all Inventor's Caves parallax elements to look better
- Fixed some achievement text that overflowed off the center panel
- Fixed some interactables dominating the screen with their hover area, causing the mouse tooltip to always read them when they were onscreen (namely interactables for summoning or advancing)
- Reduced cooldown of toggling pause menu
- Lore speech boxes will no longer disappear after a minute
- Compacted speech boxes
- Updated and added some characters to the various fonts
- Slightly increased damage number character spacing for readability
- Compacted item display on the HUD to make room for the new items and centered their icons in their cells
- Changed "NEW CAMPAIGN" to "NEW RUN" in the new run screen for parity with the main menu
- Single task achievements will display "No" instead of "0%" when undone
Greatly improved slots feature
- Buttons in the overview manager now have their mouse hitboxes corrected
- Fixed more null display bugs after switching slots
- Switching and clearing slots will update the title background
- Added a display for fully detailed time spent in a slot
- Added a display for wins and losses in Standard and Bossdome runs (no Bossdome wins because it's not over)
- Added a display for achievement completion
- Added an option to cheat in all unlocks (disables Steam achievements)
- Moved deletion button into the detailed manager and replaced it in the overview with the button to view the detailed manager
Misc changes
- Added a new run ending screen
- The keyboard can now be used at the same time as an Xbox controller
- \ and (Start) now only activate on being pressed rather than continuously while pressed every half second
- \ and (Start) will now unbind controls
- Added Xbox controller remapping
- Improved exiting functionality of \ and (B)
- Made some minor lore corrections
