Season 8: Myriad Souls
Souls shift, manifesting myriad wonders. Through mysterious arts from distant realms, one can absorb the Soul Essence of great demons and grasp the power of demon souls. If Soul Jades are found and set in place, even more wonders will be revealed. To uncover these mysteries, heroes have embarked on an expedition. However, many monsters have also been nurtured by these demon souls, and they lie in wait for the arrival of adventurers...
Soul Pendant
Each Soul Pendant holds a special skill derived from a Great Demon Boss, which can be actively cast in battle.
At the same time, they can be paired with Soul Jades to build different gameplay builds.
Soul Jade Merchant
A brand new merchant—the Soul Jade Merchant—will appear during your adventure, selling Soul Jades and providing services related to Soul Pendants. Check them out in-game for specific effects.
Special Room Challenge
Upon entering a new room, you may occasionally encounter a special challenge. You must defeat enemies empowered by demon souls as quickly as possible. Be sure to handle it with care.
Season Rewards
This season will feature exclusive skins for Angelic Aura and Dragon Breath. Stay tuned for more season rewards!
Weapon Adjustments
This update will adjust the gameplay of 3 existing weapons.
Dragon Breath
We noticed that the Dragon Breath's Quick Reaction gameplay didn't quite match its operational input and payoff. However, considering that the Quick Reaction gameplay itself is fun, we've increased the rewards for a successful reaction while keeping the gameplay intact. If the reaction is successful, you will instantly reload, and the first enemy hit by the initial shot will take damage from a laser strike from above.
Lightning Ksana
We focused on adjusting Lightning Ksana's Shield mechanic. While retaining the damage reduction effect, if a unit protected by the Shield takes damage, it will trigger a chain lightning on the nearest enemy. Additionally, if Lightning Ksana's enhanced attack hits, it will command all Shields to each trigger a chain lightning.
Wheel Saw
We think the performance of Wheel Saw's Weapon Skill is fun, but the operation itself is risky and its use cases are limited. Therefore, we adjusted the mechanic while keeping its visual strengths. Now, Wheel Saw's Weapon Skill can fire Ranged Attack saw blades, and hitting enemies with Fire will enhance the next saw blade fired.
