Goblins & Garage Sales Patch Notes — January 8, 2026

Hi everyone!
Firstly I wanted to say a massive thank you for supporting the development of GGS, and also wish you all a happy holidays and new year!
I've been working on some of the feedback that's been given, and also a new feature too!
Please note that if your feedback isn't addressed in this update, that doesn't mean I'm not still working on it.
Update Notes:
- Tutorial messages stay until clicked away now.
- Tutorial should explain what to do more clearly too.
- Text scrollbars made more prominent.
- Reduced the intensity of magical rain on the farm (should reduce some of the framerate issues).
- Added the vendor reputation system! Selling the preferred items to the correct vendor will increase their opinion of you, and therefore increase the amount they're willing to pay.
- I've also been playing around with the idea of a new dynamic menu, rather than the current static one, so there have been a few minor changes there while I continue working on it.
Coming Soon:
- Sounds! Much needed immersive sounds to keep up with this cosy world!
- A map, with waypoints displayed there and via magic in-world! (More clearly than current waypoints from the signposts).
- Questing! You'll be tasked with finding specific items for (or donating gold to, etc) townsfolk to help them rebuild, furthering your glowing reputation.
- Pets?
Keep checking in as I'm always developing things further and looking for feedback as I go. If there's anything you think would really suit being added to the game, let me know!
