Galactic Mining Corp Patch Notes — May 22, 2021

Hey everyone.

Thanks again for the mind blowing support and very helpful feedback about the game. I am reading and trying my best to respond to as much as I can.

Whats new?

Sound effects should no longer play when SFX volume is set to zero and should also all play at the correct volume level
Fixed a boosting bug where even when stationary boost points would be used
Increased the size of the HQ panning control so you don't need to touch the very top of the screen
You can now boost damage both chests and power up crates
Changing location in the Astronomy screen while Nano drill loot is being provided no longer makes the items/tiles vanish
Fixed a bug where monsters would get trapped outside the screen or not appear at all
Fixed a bug in which rooms placed directly above the HQ door were behaving strangely when removed and replaced
Tweaked particle creation when drilling again to try and reduced late game chaos lag
Arcade game Banana Drama is now a little easier. Gun overheat takes longer to get and cools down quicker.
Corrected another load of typos
Fixed an issue in option menu where selection buttons didn't register when clicked

I am very aware of the readability issue some people are experiencing with certain blocks of text, this is being worked on however requires redesign/modification on several user interface elements so will take me a little longer to get that one fixed.

I am also aware a very small number of people are experiencing an issue with save files. It appears Windows defender is being over aggressive in a few rare cases and stopping save files being created without warning the user. A community solution has been posted in the discussions.

Thanks again for all the amazing support. Know that I am reading all reports and requests and working my way through everything that needs doing to make Galactic Mining Corp the best it can be.
