Good Day
In the life of every game studio, there comes a time for important changes and farewells. Today is one of those days. We’ve grown very attached to our game, we’re just a small team, and we’ve always given it our all.
This time is no different!
We’d like to officially say goodbye…
...to many bugs and welcome new improvements!
You can read about all the changes in the changelog below.
🧌Building Improvements:
- The grid will now be displayed when building extraction structures around the places where you can build them.
- Added an extra text hint when placing extraction buildings.
- An additional visual cue has been added to forests where a sawmill can be built.
- Clearer names for Iron, Stone, and Wood deposits.
- When switching building categories, the first building in the category will now be selected instead of the mana pipeline. This should improve the base-building flow.
- Fixed a bug that prevented rebuilding extraction structures in the same location because other buildings were obstructing the grid.
- Fixed a bug where required resources for building or crafting were incorrectly displayed as missing, even if you had the required amount.

😹Highlights
- Infestation Waves can now rebuild destroyed monster nests.
- The Inventory now opens on the character you’re currently controlling.
- Less intense dark screen effect while enemy waves are attacking.
- Added a clear notification when an Infestation Wave ends.
🤡Settlers Changes
- Homeless settlers now gather around the Main Base and will run up to you if they spot you, indicating they need housing.
- Settlers now have a better waving animation when you walk near them.
- Increased settlers' movement speeds for walking and running.
🤦Other Fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevented you from talking to settlers.
- Added the ‘Available for Tru’ message to the lever puzzle in the mine on the second island.
- Fixed a bug where settlers were instantly pulled to their destination without playing the correct animation.
- Fixed issues with completing item delivery quests for Val.
- Fixed an issue where settlers wouldn’t pick up drops near walls.
- Fixed an issue where some animals sometimes disappeared at the start of the game, specifically one particular sneaky Ferin on the first island.
🐸Balance
- There is now a 50/50 chance that an enemy wave will be either a normal or Infestation type.
💗 We just wanted to prank you a little bit, and the timing is totally accidental :)

Cheers
Damian
