Federation Mycha Patch Notes — March 18, 2025

Hello agents! This patch includes development changes introduced in February. Full details are described below. Please reach out to us directly on our Discord if you have any suggestions or new issues that we didn't find during our testing!
Functional Changes
- Added a few instances of new hazards in the desert mission: Mycha tornadoes, damaged servers and frayed wires
- Added crouching to the game. Pressing and holding left control will cause your player to crouch.
- Enemies will now react to the sounds of player footsteps and follow the sounds if heard.
- Enemy vision is decreased in dark or dim areas.
- Enemy health scales with the amount of players in the game.
Visual Changes
- Added flare beams or ghost light VFX to interactable items to help distinguish them from the environment.
- Added new desert sand particle effects in the desert mission.
- Added sand colored fog in the desert mission
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a huge performance issue in the tutorial's boss fight when the boss summons allies. Frame drops should no longer occur in these instances.
- Fixed the Shotgun's hitmarker logic allowing it to consider multiple enemies to determine the effect shown. If one enemy shot is killed, the kill marker is shown. If no enemies died and one with a shield is hit, the shield hitmarker is shown. Otherwise, the standard hitmarker is shown.
- Fixed collision on the green keycard in the tutorial level clipping through room geometry.
Miscellaneous Changes
- Updated footstep sounds for agents
