Farlands Patch Notes — December 29, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
This update was supposed to arrive soon, but I will not lie to you: We got carried away adding things and may have gone a bit overboard.
Version 0.7 was meant to be the “quality of life update”, so we spent these past months reviewing all the feedback you have been leaving on Discord and smoothing out all those small rough edges that create friction during gameplay.
The list of changes and additions is huge, so I will not go through everything, but here are some of the most important highlights.
You can now move items in chests using fewer buttons, making them much more comfortable to use.
The toolbar now disappears when you walk close to it, so it will no longer block your view.
The crafting UI has received a full rework and is now clearer and easier to use.
You can now remap buttons however you like.
A new tutorial system has been implemented. It is faster, simpler, and clearer.

The fishing system has been fully reworked. There are no more weird animations or awkward controller grips.
You can now interact with objects directly from the toolbar and see tooltips on shop items.

Robeets are now shown on the toolbar, and you will be notified when you have enough for an upgrade.
Vegetable growth times have been shortened to make all of Farlands faster and more dynamic.
You will now find credits by performing regular in game actions.
Gamefeel has been improved across several interfaces, such as the end of day screen, the matter processor, and everything that happens inside the Ark.

And so many bugs have been fixed that if we listed them all, we would be here all day.
But that is not all. An update that only fixes and improves existing systems is not especially exciting for players (even if it is great for us), so this update also includes:
Ten new events. Eight are for romanceable candidates and two are story events. And most importantly of all, this update brings the speeder.
After progressing far enough in the story, Te’Kragh will give you your very own speeder, allowing you to travel across the planets of SR755 at maximum speed. It does not consume anything and will always be with you, just one button away, so make sure to use it.

That said, there are still a few things from 0.7 that we have put aside to avoid delaying the update any further. Over the next few weeks, you can expect some additional tweaks related to onboarding and various events.
After that, version 0.8 is already taking shape and will include one of the last major systems still missing from Farlands, livestock farming. So do not go too far, because 2026 will be the year of Farlands.
Thank you all so much for your support, and see you very soon.
