Patch 1.3.2 - Text Sound Effect Toggle
ESCAPE Room: Reality Patch Notes — January 5, 2018
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Greetings, everyone!
We're now running version 1.3.2 on Steam for both Windows and MacOS!
As usual, if it reads release build 1.3.2 on the upper right corner of the main menu, that means you're up to date. Otherwise, just restart your Steam client to kick in the update process.
Text Sound Effect Toggle
I realize that the "typing" sound effect when text are being shown may not be for everyone. In hindsight, this is something that should have been added from the beginning - giving the option to enable or disable the text sound effect.
With this update, you'll be able to enable or disable this sound effect by going to the in-game menu (press ESC while you're in the game) and select the option for Text SFX.
This will only disable the sound effect that plays while "conversational" text are showing. There will still be sound effect for button presses, choice selections, etc.
Minor Fix in Classroom (Chapter 1)
- Fixed a minor issue where Roland and Alastor talks about the box in the drawer even if you've already opened it, if the conversation was not triggered previously.
And once more, Happy 2018!
