Einlanzer Patch Notes — January 13, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
This update addresses a lot of things the community has discussed about Einlanzer. There are fairly large changes to playing the game in a dishonorable way. Most specifically, the "Vile" tier of weapons that are only accessible by being dishonorable are now substantially better. Also, a side quest leading to a truly powerful weapon only accessible by being consistently dishonorable has been added to the game. This weapon is a counter to the Excalibur--the extremely powerful weapon you can obtain by being consistently honorable. Head down to the Abyss and look for a new skeleton NPC to start the quest.

Don't expect him to want to talk to you if you're a goody-two-shoes....
One other major late-game improvement is the ability to travel to Canaan and the Abyss even when you're right before the final boss. Now, you don't have to worry about anything being missing or inaccessible with your final boss save file.
Some other fairly major changes have been made with this update and have been listed in detail below.
- Improved "Void" weapons (less inaccurate now)
- Improved "Vile" weapons (HP and Luck stat drain was reduced by 50%)
- Added new ultimate evil weapon to counter the ultimate good weapon Excalibur
- Abyss and Canaan are now accessible even when ready for final battle
- Added new skeleton NPC to Abyss hub
- Added new short side quest in Abyss accessible by talking to new NPC in Abyss hub
- Added new boss battle related to new side quest
- Changed the wording on the item "Snow Gem" to more clearly state that it is a spell and should only be used on magic users.
As always, please take a moment to write a review for Einlanzer. It helps tremendously!
Happy adventuring, Swordbearers!
