Players of Echoes+ might know that it was made using AppGameKit, an easy to use game making engine that's being improved all the time.
In recent months support for HTML5 was added, allowing game makers to export their games so they can run on websites.
AppGameKit also comes in a Raspberry Pi form and can be downloaded for FREE if you register with The Game Creators here.
In September a new version of AppGameKit will be released to all exisiting AppGameKit users, adding many new exciting features.
