Greetings Stranded,
The following features and mechanics are planned for Version Beach. This list will be updated at a later date and all time estimates are subject to change.
SEPTEMBER:
- More Tools: The ability to FORGE tools and manipulate more of your surroundings
Crab Pots: Once constructed, these will allow for the capture of seafood, which in turn, will bolster FOOD suppliesSupport Posts: Using BUNDLES, various structures can be built at these points, such as bridges, landmarks and other labor-saving constructsRocks: Allows for gathering of STONE- Gas Lamp: A portable, refuellable light source
Bamboo: A lightweight, flexible BUNDLE- Buckets: Constructed from BUNDLES, these have a multitude of uses
OCTOBER:
- Inventory Tome: Allows for full Inventory management
- Sea Chest: Store resources and put them aside for personal use
- Weather Vane: Keep track of the Winds of Fate (daily luck)
More Isles: A greater number of randomly generated landmass features and biomes- Ladders: Constructed using BUNDLES, allowing for vertical exploration
- Buoy: A beacon for other players to sail to and leave resources at
- Workbench: Allows for refining of BUNDLES
- Shipwrecks: Rare in-game events that can be explored for unique resources and permanent upgrades
NOVEMBER:
- Shelters: Spend resources towards the construction of your home
- Underground Grottos: Rare, explorable caves with mysterious, ancient ruins
- Weather: More weather types, such as typhoons and heavy rain
- Cataloging: Record and study local flora and fauna
- Agriculture Suite: Sow, grow and harvest your own FOOD
- Mail Raft: Send and receive direct messages from other STRANDED
- Stove: Prepare FOOD resources
- Ores: Smelting and construction resources
- Experimental VR Branch: DROPTCH gameplay support for VR devices (platforms to be determined)
- Experimental Ray Tracing Branch: DROPTCH gameplay utilizing ray tracing technology
