Dread Dawn Patch Notes — May 27, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Added Buildable Farmlands!!!
You can now build farmlands in the construction panel, allowing you to farm on any flat terrain (even indoors) without being limited by the land. This enables you to create camps with farmland anywhere!!!

Building a farmland requires sufficient wood, leaves, and stone. It can be placed indoors (note that crops indoors cannot be naturally watered by rain). You can build farmlands in your camp.
The waiting time for zombie horde tower defense has been extended from 4 days to 6 days. If you want to start the zombie horde tower defense immediately, you can skip the waiting time in the task list.
Added a new option that lets you decide whether to return to the starting point for tower defense.
Increased the lookout distance of watchtowers, making it easier to oversee the area during tower defense or help players explore the surroundings for resources.
After loading or crossing maps, fish ponds will now automatically refresh, allowing you to catch fish again.
Added new events near the police station in the main map.
Modified the display logic for construction panel hints. When the hint is near the bottom of the screen, it will now be displayed above the cursor to prevent it from being cut off.
Added farmland-related hint text and corresponding translations, and organized folder directories to improve loading speed.
Resolved the issue where teammates would use fire hoses as melee weapons by disabling their ability to use such items.
Changed the logic for teammates repairing weapons. Now, if all their weapons are damaged and they have a repair kit, teammates will automatically repair their first weapon.
Added tower defense-related hint text and corresponding translations, and organized folder directories to improve loading speed.
Fixed the issue where fish would appear on the ground after crossing maps or reloading save points while the fish pond contained fish.
