DOGMAN Patch Notes — November 16, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello all. Tonight DOGMAN 1.0.6 releases and brings many great changes with it. Lets dive right in.
First off, the flashlight system has been majorly changed. Rather than the handheld flashlight, the player now will be equipped with a shoulder mounted unit. The player can now run with the flashlight on as well.
The flashlight however, now has limited battery power. Once the power is out, your flashlight will not work until you find batteries to refill it with.
Next up is the Industrial Park. Since the re-addition of jumping, I've found many ways to glitch out the stalker Dogman on the industrial park, specifically by getting on top of objects/places the player shouldn't be. Nearly 80 blocking volumes were added to the map to restore gameplay to it's intended state, and to also help keep the Dogman from getting stuck on certain objects. The Dogman getting stuck on things is a constant battle I'm dealing with in every patch. I'm hoping I'll have it sorted out soon though. Body clues were also slightly adjusted on the Industrial Park.
Next is a small change to the Appalachians Park. A specific body in that park is hidden very well, and unfortunately didn't have a very noticeable clue pointing to it's position. That has been changed with this update, and I'm sure it'll help you track it down.
A "How to play" button has been added the main menu, and will help new players with key bindings and gameplay questions. This screen is prone to change, based on how the game changes in future updates.

Additionally, a quality of life fix for the user's HUD has been noted, and completed with DOGMAN 1.0.6
When the player has found all 5 bodies, and is prompted to return to their car, a red flashing line of text would show up in the middle of the screen prompting them to do so. This text has had it's wording slightly changed, and has also been moved to the top of the screen.
Finally, battery pickups can be found in all maps. The user will find them in cabins, and on forklifts depending on the map they're playing.

That's all
for DOGMAN 1.0.6. Thanks so much for playing. Development on a new park begins tomorrow, so stay tuned. More information on this park will be revealed soon.
