Directive Nine Patch Notes — September 22, 2020

Weapons
- NEW WEAPON : The Quad-pipe. Shotgun style weapon, that really turns anything close into goo.
- You can no longer eject magazines that are full. This change is to help people who spam the reload button.
- You can no longer spend all your magazines while having a magazine in your hand by spamming reload.
Gadgets
- Plasma Charge : Charge distance corrected and tweaked, now works better. Now also impacts the environment around you in addition to enemies
Difficulty
- Missions now become longer as you progress. This is the first initiative in regards to progressive difficulty. More changes are planned.
Enemies
- NEW ENEMY : The Heavy Grunt. At higher difficulties you might meet this new guy. He carries a burst-fire rifle, and his projectiles are slighty faster than usual. Make him a priority
Items
- NEW ITEM : Punish The Weak. Hitting enemies below 50% hp will add 2% damage per stack
- NEW ITEM : Field Medic. Healing effects are improved by 2% per stack
- NEW ITEM : Lucky Supplies. Chance of ammo drops is improved by 2% per stack
Level:
- 1 NEW ROOM
- Prettyfied the bloom and colors on the Armada Warp-In Space Vista.
- Oxygen tanks now explode when you shoot the nozzle
UI:
- Added temporary text instructions in the start room to let players know they can swap weapons by reaching over their shoulder
- Upgraded ModStation UI to be slightly more in line with the rest. More UI upgrades are coming.
Balancing:
- Reduced Pistol damage from 15 to 9
- Reduced Medic healing cooldown from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds
- Obliterator (Big robot dude) now has Splash Damage on his projectiles, so be somewhere else when they hit the wall!
- Shotgunner health has been increased, and bullet spread reduced
- Slight damage nerf to "Stay on Target" weapon mod
Known Issues
- Gunshot audio and other sounds sometimes play very loudly and very close to the player. We are still investigating the cause of this.
Bugfixes:
- Smooth Turning : Made sure that smooth turning operates only on the X-axis of the thumbsticks, not the Y-axis
- Fixed a bug with Shield gadget, that would sometimes let bullets through
- Fixed a critical issue where the game would hang when dying, for SteamVR users.
- Fixed deadzone size for Smooth Turn
