Hello,
DemonCrawl v2.3.4 is now available on the Windows stable branch. This patch includes over 100 new blueprints to collect, along with numerous balance changes and bug fixes. Thank you for continuing to provide your feedback here and on our Discord server.
We are also preparing for the release of the DemonCrawl Supporter Pack DLC later this month. Please consider adding it to your wishlist if you are interested!

Quality of Life
- Codex loadout parser now supports `M` and `C` directives to quickly change your Mastery and Special Chest
- Modded stage skins can disable inherited holograph masks more reliably
- Spatula, Justice Juice, and Planned Obsolescence will self-remove their status effects if the linked item is lost
- Clarified Honeypot tooltip
- Updated Nightmare Gut sprite
Balance Changes
- Added blueprints for 130 items
- Arcane Barrier reworked: "Reduce incoming damage by 1 for every 50 mana you have."
- Lightning Rod reworked: "Negate incoming damage by randomly using one of your charged magic items."
- Herbs can now drop Giga Health Potion and Giga Mana Potion if you have them unlocked
- Doubled Wishpool mana reward from 20 to 40 per tick
- Doubled Nomad mana reward ceiling from 35 to 70
- Expanded Fire Chest pool: "It contains a 'burning' or 'flare' item."
- Adjusted Monk's Password for Special Chest: It now only uses slots 1-12
- Customer's Password ceiling reduced from 50 to 30
- Sentry Gnome price reduced from 16 to 7
- Lightning Rod price reduced from 30 to 25
- Arcane Barrier price increased from 25 to 34
- Fertilizer price increased from 35 to 40
- Juggler III nerfed: "Activate Juggling Balls. 15% chance to gain a mastery charge when you evade or powerchord."
- Juggler III mastery charges reduced from 3 to 2
- Hypnotist III buffed: "Remove status effects with fewer than 10 counters, then increase your other status effect counters by 10."
Bug Fixes
- Fixed stage skin reloads inheriting old particle effects after swapping skins
- Fixed rare crash related to using a Nomad that sells legendary items
- Fixed a rare crash related to depositing a Faulty Bomb into the Bank while Salt is active
- Fixed a rare save file issue related to caching the Hero Trial description
- Fixed a crash related to Salt negating Smog
- Fixed Teleporter missing string
- Fixed missing Fishing Pole strings
- Fixed in-game error toast related to Zeal of Hate guess branch
- Fixed Lil Buddha incorrectly firing on completed stages in some cases
- Fixed Wizard Hat triggering on mana depletion instead of magic use
- Fixed issue with Whittling Knife not granting mastery charge on Doll pickup
- Fixed an issue related to selected mastery reset after playing Arena
- Fixed removal of Peaceful stage mod restoring too little stage power and monster count
- Fixed Scattered object movement incorrectly triggering Dramatic from recalculated cell values
- Fixed Christmas Chest not giving Christmas hats to visible strangers
- Fixed a rare Arena crash related to preparing result speech
- Fixed Ectodrop/Ectoplasm able to bypass status-end effect via Active stage mod
- Fixed Lightstone Helmet showing duplicate alerts when Resounding Rune is active
- Fixed Auramancer III skipping visible Frozen cells when activating aura effects
- Fixed R stage able to appear as part of Hero Trial
- Fixed Unchained chain warnings sometimes appearing green instead of red
- Fixed issue with bubble click timing incorrectly activating other effects such as Druid Staff on the same click
