Fixed being unable to take Steam screenshots.
Fixed a number of typographical errors.
Fixed the volume sliders displaying incorrect values when set to near max.
Fixed Ibzan’s second death cutscene only using the "Poor aim" line.
Fixed Ibzan’s penultimate cutscene never playing.
Fixed Puff and Player (Crossbow) crashing the game when falling.
Fixed Bartenders hiding behind doors after being revived.
Fixed a crash when going into Load Custom on certain OS installations.
Fixed a crash when exiting Load Custom while at the bottom of the list.
Fixed a crash when buying too many weapons at once.
Fixed enemies becoming alerted when toggling Flashling Lights.
Fixed a crash when a Stela phylactery was present without Stela herself.
(Hopefully) fixed a crash when too many landmines blew up at once.
Fixed a crash when dying after triggering a map end.
Fixed several crashes related to cutscenes in custom maps.
Fixed the screen not darkening when using vents on certain hardware configurations.
Fixed Dead Simple not awarding souls upon repeat playthroughs within the same session.
Fixed a bug that sent the player to the currently active save if they clicked "Quit Mission" too soon after clicking "New Game".
Fixed weapon carryover not being properly reset between maps.
Fixed accuracy stat not being reset between deaths.
Fixed kills stat being reset to 0 when it shouldn't be.
Fixed phylactery soul lines affecting the alpha on other objects (e.g. lamps, sniper support text).
Fixed Couch2 being displayed incorrectly when flipped on x-axis.
Fixed hidden skeletons becoming permanently blind when stunned with the Flashbang.
Fixed lights becoming indestructible when shot out during a blackout.
Fixed interactions between light switches and generators.
Gore no longer disappears when pausing and unpausing (Gore setting is still respected).
Added a Crouch sprite to Scythe.
Fixed softlocks in custom maps caused by Safe 2 and Puff's Table by introducing a generic dialogue box.
Fixed a crash caused by the Meat Portal in custom maps. If the map does not have a valid lv4_1 or lv4_1_hard file, it will act as a level completion trigger.
Save files are now always lowercase for the purposes of Linux cloud sync.
Fixed the custom lockpick amount option for oSafe1 not doing anything (map creators can now set any amount of picks between 1 and 30).
Fixed oCrate1 losing collision when flipped on x-axis.
Evelyn now uses 10mm Pistol weapon data instead of Death+Taxes.
Bartenders no longer spawn a ragdoll when ashified.
Fixed very rare instances of player being instantly spotted when transitioning from lit to unlit area via a stairwell.
Fixed the game icon initially not appearing in taskbar.
Fixed some controls inconsistencies that forced the use of LMB/RMB.
Fixed the first apartment cutscene not playing under certain conditions.
Fixed Patriarchs falling through the map if alerted while on the same coordinate as the player.
Fixed duplicate lockpicking minigames.
Fixed blackscreen when clicking too quickly after pausing.
Fixed Patriarchs ignoring Flashbang stuns while using the minigun.
Fixed weapon purchases not being saved when exiting the docks via the pause menu.
Fixed an issue where multiple Bartenders could be assigned to the same phylactery if there weren't enough phylacteries. This also sometimes caused crashes.
Apartment Lamp is now independent of story progress on current save file.
Map Changes
Fixed Dead Simple showing out of bounds space.
Fixed a number of double-layered walls/floors across the game.
Fixed the lightswitch in Noisy Neighbors affecting more than one room.
Added extra wallpaper in A Lot To Give.
Removed a sign from The Bloody Mary.
Landmines in Timur The Tinkerer no longer float.
Placed blocks on top of Vall’s sniping nest to prevent the enemies from walking off.
Added one more phylactery to Bottle Service to account for the phylactery bugfix.
Gameplay Changes
Rebalanced soul rewards to make obtaining every weapon possible.
Dead Simple now awards 10 souls even if skipped.
Enabled the "Restart Mission" option in custom maps.
Maps with the Sniper Scope can now be restarted.
Player is now able to swap weapons while inside a vent.
Player is now able to restart while inside a vent.
Keypresses no longer delay custom cutscenes.
Save file and custom map lists can now scroll infinitely.
Light switches now function even during blackouts, letting the player toggle the lights in advance.
Added a standalone Weapon Pickup bind.
Added a Quick Restart bind.
All Dredged enemies are now immune to the effects of ash totems.
Player can no longer kill self in the apartment if there's nowhere to load to.
Player will now stop midair and stick to cover, if done so while falling.
Amber & Evelyn's death cutscenes are disabled unless the level's filename is lv2_5 or lv2_5_hard.
Cassettes now get saved on pickup rather than level completion.
Restructured the stat screen for clarity.
The stat screen can now be skipped by holding Shoot and Interact simultaneously before it appears.
Added Vampire car as an option for Car Cover (if type is 6).
Landmines can now be assigned to player team (if var2 is 1).
Linux
Fixed levels always using the default city background.
Fixed crashes related to triggers in custom levels.
Known Issues
On Linux, having a capital letter anywhere in a custom level’s filepath will result in a crash upon entering the Load Custom screen. This is an engine-level issue. For the best custom level compatibility, it's recommended to instead play the Windows version via a compatibility layer (e.g. Proton).
March 22nd Hotfix
Fixed Patriarch windup breaking while aiming at the player.
Fixed General revive SFX going on loop if interrupted by another General.
Fixed a pathfinding crash related to elevator doors without buttons.
Added a landing sprite for Amber.
