DashBored Patch Notes — July 5, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Woah, it's been a while.
There was a time where I just never stopped updating DashBored, adding new things, but it has now been over four years since the last big update to DB, and I thought it was time to do a little cleaning up here and there. Since a lot of people are discovering DashBored for the first time, I wanted to add something to help new players get into the world of the Garden of Vurrus more easily.
This little update adds a few tune ups to old things, as well as some nice new features!
The most major new feature is the addition of a world map!
World Map
This map is accessible from the game's pause menu, and will show your location in the Garden, the location of your next objective, and a few other goodies as well. I hope this will help to prevent new players from potentially getting lost and overwhelmed in the world of the Garden.
Here's a look at it!

The map updates in real time, and is accessible at any time!
Vurrus
Various graphics that have been left alone for a long time have gotten overhauled finally!
This includes all of Vurrus' graphics, including their face sprites, battle sprites, and overworld graphics!
I haven't been happy with Vurrus' appearance for a long time, so I'm happy to finally do this!
Take a look at the difference of Before (top) and After (bottom)!

Memorial to Sketchy
This year, one of my best friends who I have ever met, Becca, passed away to Liver Cancer. It has been incredibly hard without her, she has been one of the people who has kept me going throughout these years, and one of the people who has kept me inspired to create all this time. I miss her very much. Becca loved DashBored and its characters, especially Isaac, and I have added a small memorial area to her in the city of Roke. I may add to it more as time passes.
I hope you are doing well Becca, wherever you are. I miss you. Rest well.
Other Changes:
Improved some battle animations
Graphical improvements to the Corrupted Underground Village
New Final Nash encounter music
Player no longer needs to go and find the Mayor of Roke to enter the subway, hopefully removing some tedium from Day 2
Redid various miscellaneous NPC graphics
Nic no longer blushes at the thought of a horrible underwater monster
Redid Temprocal and Damicelle intro designs
Made Cute Bomb more powerful
I thank you all for playing DashBored all of these years, and I hope that these changes will help to make the game more enjoyable and fun for both the returning and new players alike!
Have a great weekend!
