Another update in such a short time period?
Yes, a lot of things are happening these days. And today it's a new round of Makeship Merch and our Lea going from CrossCode into a CrossOver!
So lets see what that's all about!
Smug Lea with Extra Cheese and a Keychain
Another round of CrossCode merch in cooperation with Makeship has just started!
For one, there’ll be a rerun of the original Smug Lea plush for those that missed it or want spares… But with a little addition: This time she’s coming with extra cheese!
And then there’s another version of smug Lea, but this one is keychain sized!
As per usual, the merch will only be delivered if at least 200 units get ordered within a 21~ days time period (so until Jun 19). If it fails to reach that goal (each item tracks this individually), you will get your money back, so there’s no risk on your part!
Infinite Alliance - Big Crossover Event Game Collaboration
Fresh off our announcement of CrossCode collaborating with SHADE Protocol, we’re pleased to reveal that Lea will also be featured in the upcoming Infinite Alliance!
Infinite Alliance unites heroes and villains from 17 indie games in a free, story driven crossover RPG. Lea will visit a distant world, and come face-to-face with characters from Chained Echoes, Kingdoms of the Dump, Jack Move, Quartet, 8-Bit Adventures 2, and many more titles.
These heroes can train with Lea in order to gain more power and a unique accessory. In practice? This means the player gets to enjoy an over-the-top superboss battle with Lea, where she’ll swap between Elemental Modes, use Gungnir to create Decoys of herself, and unleash familiar attacks like Karma Scale (which you can see in the trailer) - all adapted for turn-based combat.
Because consoles require every game to be monetized in some way, the battle against Lea from CrossCode will require a $1 optional purchase on console. Every other aspect of the game is free, and the proceeds from this purchase will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
On PC, however, both Lea and the entire game will be completely free.
