It’s been a while since our last update—November, when Mort the Chicken made his big debut. We want to start by apologizing for the gap in communication. Balancing development and public updates as a small indie team has been a challenge, especially with the hurdles we’ve faced recently. But moving forward, we’re committing to more consistent and transparent updates because you deserve nothing less.
Where We’re At
We’ll be honest: our team has gotten smaller. While this has meant scaling back in some areas, it hasn’t stopped us from pressing forward. Every day, we’re working hard with the resources we have, and your continued support—whether it’s playing the game, sharing feedback, or hyping it up in the community—has made a huge difference.
Switching to a free-to-play model was a bold step, and while it’s brought financial challenges, we’re confident it’s the right direction for Cross Impact. It hasn’t been easy, but we’re determined to make it work. There’s a long road ahead, but we’re here for the journey.
