Monthly Development Update - June 2026
Conquest Dark News — June 1, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
I’m going to start this first monthly development update with the classic “there’s some good news and some bad news.”
About a month ago, when I started working on the design of the new upcoming class I quickly realized that it felt mechanically too similar to what already exists in the game, just with a different theme and visual flavor. I felt it wasn’t something players would be excited about after such a long wait.
I scoured Discord, the Steam discussion boards and other channels to get a better picture of what players really wanted to see from a new class and then decided to pivot towards that. I’m not going to reveal the new class just yet, but I can tell you that mechanically it’s something very different from the other classes.
Now for the “bad” news. Because of the complexity of what I’m working on at the moment, it will most likely take a bit longer than originally planned and the next major update will probably be released closer to early autumn.
There’s going to be a small update during the summer that will bring some minor new content and balance changes, especially to how weapon sets are handled. This should shake up the meta a bit and provide some new build opportunities.
With that, I’m going to leave you until the start of next month with a small teaser.
