Twenty Ninth Monthly Update
Choices: The Game Patch Notes — August 12, 2020
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
So I didn't post an update last month, but here's why:
I lost confidence in this project, the art just didn't feel good enough. When I made the original game for friends, they knew my limits. But I've put this project to the world and have to make it look good.
I made a few chances, both to the game and my thinking. I'm making a new build more or less to make this project better, let me explain the builds:
Build 1: The original text based python project
Build 2: The first image based python project
Build 3: The public (unfortunately) C# project
Build 4: The beta redesign and reprogram of Build 3.
Build 4.5: The redesign of Build 4.
So this Build 4.5 features new, much smaller and precise art, this should make the game look better with much less stretching because of the arbitrary ratios I chose for the sprites. And less of me worrying about how it looks because I enjoy making smaller sprites more than big weirdly stylized sprites
