Boat Crew Patch Notes — May 18, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Greetings, Captain!
After months of hard work and Experimental Branch testing, we are proud to present to you one of the largest and most ambitious updates yet, v1.8.0 Stable - Combined Offensive!

As usual, it has been a long period of very active development, with constant feedback from many of you and 15 patches of various sizes building up to this eventual Stable version update.

Our highlight features are the addition of a Co-Op mode, which allows you to play the Campaign with up to 5 fellow Captains, as well as the addition of the new PC-461 Submarine Chaser as a playable boat, which can be unlocked through Campaign progression.

Accompanying these, we also have a long list of gameplay and balance changes, optimization improvements and bug fixes, the comprehensive list of which you can find in the patch notes below.

We are close to the end of Early Access at this point, and we would like to once again extend our thanks to you for supporting us through this prolonged development period. Your feedback and enthusiasm for Boat Crew have been a major source of motivation for us, and we appreciate you taking part in making Boat Crew what it is today.
Fair winds,
Captain,
T.T.
