Community Update - May 19th, 2026
Bloodlit News — May 19, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hi all! It has been quite a while since any activity in this game. For those of you who have been following my updates on the official Discord server, you may already be aware that I have been quite busy with my personal life stuff, which severely hindered my progression speed on this game's development; you may also be aware that progression, although much slower than I wanted, isn't completely ceased, as I have been presenting teasers on what's to come.
So, what's the current status?
I am happy to say that I have been making good progress, and multiplayer has currently reached what I'd call a "technically functional" stage. What this means is that: a match, with multiple players, from start to finish, is now possible and properly functional, which is also probably the hardest part of this update (since, as those of you who have been following me already know, this is my first time making anything multiplayer, along with everything else).
There is obviously more to do than just making multiplayer functional, such as fully functional lobby systems. I also have more than just multiplayer support planned for this upcoming update.
However, we are at the very least able to expect the update at some point soon.
I want to say I should have the update ready within a month or so, but at the same time, I have no idea if I will run into any difficulties that may stall me for any longer in something I have never done before.
Therefore, I will not be providing a definitive time for the update release, so I can focus on ensuring the quality of the update and avoid releasing anything half-baked just to meet a deadline. Hopefully, my estimate will not be far off.
Until then, feel free to join the official Discord server to follow my activities or reach out to me directly!
I thank all of you for your patience, as I continue to navigate the development of my first game.
See you again soon!
