Battlecruisers 7.0.63 Patch Notes
Charlie finally works out what is North and goes through the passage previously cleared by the Arctic Bear, Li. A sinister arch-enemy awaits them in ambush, with a unique battle sure to trick even the most cunning meat-person.
Gameplay & balance
- Unit variants: Double Shot / Triple Shot behave correctly on Cannon, Destroyer, and Frigate (campaign and PvP).
- Drones: Drones follow their source building when the cruiser moves.
- Boss & levels: Man o’ War and LV037 October tuning (health and combat feel); Archon boss flow aligned with the normal “unfurl then fight” path.
- Combat tech: Targeting colliders initialise earlier so rare before-Start trigger cases don’t break detection; factory spawns cope better when aircraft colliders are already gone; battle prefab loading is properly awaited when entering battle without the usual hub path.
Progression & UI
- Battle Hub: Private Match only unlocks after online sign-in succeeds (no silent broken UGS taps); heckle coin purchases in the shop are on again by default.
- Battle dialogue: Tap the heckle bubble to skip the rest of a line and advance the script.
- Map & sidequests: Map hides before trash-talk; completion state refreshes when you return to the map; edge case fixed when Trash stays the current sidequest under the map.
- Polish: Settings account help row fix; cruiser death timing vs battle fade improved.
PvP & matchmaking
- Cleanup: Flee / failed matchmaking paths wrapped so state is less likely to stick if something throws.
- Private matches: Private match flag resets cleanly with battle button state.
- Ranked: UI makes it clearer which cruisers are allowed in ranked PvP.
- Under the hood: Prefab / locale loading work for PvP (high scrutiny internally).
Cloud, sign-in & analytics (reliability)
- Saves: Stronger local + cloud flow, post-restore UI refresh, fewer redundant saves in one frame, and recovery paths (including store-style currency recovery where applicable); extra docs and test harness work on the side.
- UGS: Init hardened (timeouts, captured init task, retries don’t stop early on unknown errors).
- Firebase: User id hook for UGS Player ID; user properties queue until Firebase is ready.
