Barbecue Patch Notes — June 18, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
The sun's out, the coals are crackling, the guests are arriving. What could possibly go wrong?
Barbecue is a co-op game for 1 to 4 players. Your mission: keep the backyard grills running and the guests well-fed… until the physics engine, unexpected events, and your teammates' questionable ideas turn a quiet afternoon into an all-out disaster.
Your goal? Earn 5 stars from the food critic. Everything else is just a good excuse to set the whole place ablaze.
It starts chill. It doesn't stay that way.
Here's what's waiting for you in Barbecue:
- Grill all kinds of meat, from a humble sausage to ribeye or king prawns, and nail the perfect cook: not raw, not charred.
- Sell your grilled food to the guests to rake in the cash.
- Master the fire: enough fuel to cook, not so much that the backyard turns into a blaze that spreads to the trees, the house… and your teammates. (That gas bottle is just waiting for a spark.)
- Reinvest your earnings in real grills, from a simple campfire where you cook the meat by hand to a high-end gas barbecue.
- Cross the busy street to reach the shop, without ending up under a car.
- Revive your teammates with the holy merguez.
Barbecue is out now on Steam. Solo for the mastery, four-player for the chaos, preferably with the people you trust least.
