Aurora Nights Patch Notes — May 23, 2016
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
What will be the release price for the game on Steam?
Aurora Nights will be $0.99 on Steam.
Is this game any fun?
It has relaxing, casual gameplay. At the easiest level, there is little challenge - just click the stars! But at the higher difficulty it gets more fun to play when you should also avoid excess stars. This idea works well for those who want remember the constellations, because the best way to remember something is to make repetitions of the learned material. This game's main idea was always "a fun way to learn about constellations".
How long is the game?
If you actually want to remember constellations, then it's 5+ hours. Otherwise, 2 hours for most people. Medium playtime for the first playthrough is 0.5 hour.
What about game optimization?
The game should run pretty well even on the old hardware - one of the testing machines is 10-year-old laptop with Windows XP with an old integrated graphics card, and game runs well on it. We are spending a lot of time on testing the game for any bugs and glitches to fix them before the release, and my previous experience on releasing Pythagoria on Steam is very helpful.
Does the game include the Southern Hemisphere?
No, the game includes only Northern Hemisphere, and there are no plans of adding any new content at the moment.
However, I am always open to community - so if there would be a huge number of requests about adding Southern Hemisphere from possible players, I may add it in the future.
I want to make a professional review/YouTube video/Twitch stream
