Just Amazing, You guys who reached out to us via e-mail, or the Streamers who ended up on a potential issue - again, you help us improve Alan Sharp and make it better, more engaging and more fun to play! ːsteamhappyː
This would be a large update focused on bugs, glitches, game crashers and some quality of life we've managed to finish in the past couple of days. Check it out!
- Sam seen standing in the end - fixed
- Grammatical errors in some items fixed
- Added some additional "clues" (helpers) to guide players while solving the Regan case in the mansion.
- A sound cue added in the Asylum
- Tweaking the door jumpscare camera control
- Reduced the sound of "Journal Updated" when starting the final level of Chapter 0.
- Fixed issues with the save system
- Pick up sound of the statue on the bar - volume lowered
- Fixed the overlap speech in the Asylum
- Invisible walls added in the Artifact scene where you were able to pass through a wall to the living room. Added extra invisible wall to prevent going to basement and confuse players
- Added lighting helpers to prevent players wandering aimlessly around the mansion
- Weapon un-hidden on the AI
- Removed the hovering weapon glitch in Sewers
- Fixed the standing black figure in the hidden cutscene
- Removed "trace of blood" which got stuck on the screen during cutscene
- A lot of optimization, removal of unecessary objects and deactivation of several empty drawers and cabinets which confused players and made them open every single one of them
- Journal Entry fixes
- Maze Puzzle issue fixed which, although rarely, caused the pin to go out of the maze.
- Added auto-wrap function on the Journal Entries
- Voice-recorder removed once you get back to Regan Manor.
- Phone ringing removed which caused some players to think it was a guide for further progression.
- Fixed doctor in Save System
- A bug which locked all doors during Continue game - fixed
- Game crasher on cabin puzzle with the letters fixed
- 4 drawings counting issue in Alan's home fixed
- Locker & Locker System removed - although it was presented as an Easter Egg, we do not think it would be suitable mechanic for our game.
- Fixed the issue where you can double-click the gun in the memory lane and cause the cutscene all over again
- Fixed crouch places issue
- Fixed the navmesh space of the AI which prevented it to go through doors or narrow spaces.
For the Next Update in a few days, we'll be focusing on Quality of Life things and additional localization.
