Aircraft Evolution Patch Notes — April 9, 2025

Hello everyone!
We're excited to announce that Aircraft Evolution has been updated to version 5.0!
Almost everything has been revamped! We've improved nearly every aspect of the game — from overall balance to the physics engine.
New types of bombs, aircraft, enemies have been added, and now you can upgrade your bombs! Let’s dive into the details.
New Bombs & Upgrades:
We’ve added a variety of new bombs — electric, liquid-based, nuclear, and more! Bombs now have their own dedicated section in the menu.
Bombs are divided into classes: Standard, A, B, C, and Super Heavy. You purchase bombs by class, rather than individually.
New bombs are unlocked using research points, which you earn by leveling up any type of bomb.
Bomb Upgrades: You can now enhance your bombs! As you use a specific bomb, it gains experience.
When it levels up, you can upgrade one of its stats — rate of fire, damage, etc.
Endless Game Mode:
The campaign no longer marks the end of your journey — now, an Endless Mode unlocks after completing the main game!
In Endless Mode, enemies grow progressively stronger — and not just tougher, but entirely new enemy types appear.
You’ll first face familiar enemies, but as you advance, new ones start to appear and replace the old. Each era brings a full new set of units!
Your goal: set your personal best by pushing through as many levels as possible. The further you go, the tougher it gets — but the rewards grow too. If you lose, difficulty resets and your high score is saved.
And there’s more: in Endless Mode, you’ll also be able to unlock new aircraft!
New Resources & Power-Ups:
We’ve introduced a new resource: Parts. Use them to purchase power-ups like Repair Drones, Extra Fuel Tanks, and more.
Gameplay Balance Overhaul:
We’ve made the early game smoother and more intuitive.
Aircraft and enemy stats have been rebalanced for a more enjoyable and exciting experience.
Enemy projectiles have been resized — they’re now easier to see and dodge.
UI Redesign. The interface has been redesigned with new visuals to better reflect the game’s unique style and atmosphere.
Technical Improvements:
- Added a new keyboard control mode.
- Major performance optimizations — the game now runs smoother and faster.
- Reworked camera and object rendering for fluid movement and a better overall experience.
- Improved physics system, resulting in smoother object motion and higher performance.
- Upgraded the game engine, enhancing load times, performance, and overall stability.
- Added translations into several languages.
These are the key improvements in version 5.0. We’ve put a ton of work into making Aircraft Evolution even more fun and immersive!
