Galactic Lander Goes Open-Source
Galactic Lander Patch Notes — October 8, 2021
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Disclaimer, this announcement was supposed to public on the 4th of October but failed to do so, sorry!
Hello!
I am pleased to announce that today, on the 4th of October, exactly three years since Galactic Lander was released on Steam, I have made Galactic Lander's source code available for all to see and temper with on GitHub!
The code is under MIT license, so you can do it with as you please.
Feel free to look around the code and see how certain features or parts of the game were made!
Thank You!
Making Galactic Lander was very fun for me, but I feel like what was the most enjoyable for me was the community interaction I was able to have after the game's release.
After Galactic Lander was released, so many people began playing the game, expressing their feedback and opinions, created workshop levels, and leaving reviews!
Thank you so much for everyone who has played my game these past three years. Hearing people play my game and talk about it and create workshop items for it has been so much fun for me, even more than actually making the game in the first place.
Thank you!
And as always, fellow gentle-and-way-too-explosive-space-ships pilots, have fun and game on!
