Tiny Tanks – New Version Now Live
Tiny Tanks Patch Notes — November 20, 2025
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hello everyone,
after roughly 1.5 years of work, I’m excited to finally release the first new version of Tiny Tanks on Steam. The last update was more than six years ago, and because the old version was based on outdated technology, I rebuilt the entire game from scratch, about 99% of it alone in my spare time. A few weeks ago, the first testers tried the new version, and now it’s ready for everyone.
I also want to mention that, as part of this relaunch, Tiny Tanks will be 25% off for the next two weeks. This should make it easier to introduce new players to the game.
Before getting into the details, I want to say thank you. Your reactions to my previous post meant a lot to me and gave me the motivation to finish this new version. I am incredibly grateful that so many of you are still here after all this time.
Important Information
The game was developed almost entirely solo and tested on only a limited number of systems.
Bugs may still occur. You can report issues directly through an in-game form.
Your feedback is extremely important to help improve the game.
The old version is still available as a Beta branch.
The new version currently does not include the Level Editor.
Gameplay has been reworked and streamlined.
This release feels like a complete relaunch, and I will rely on your feedback to move forward.
Save System: Future updates may require resetting existing save data.
Gameplay Changes
The gameplay has been significantly reworked. The goal in every game mode is now to knock other players off the platform. There are no longer multiple changing objectives. This puts the focus on what makes Tiny Tanks fun: chaotic explosions and launching tanks off the map.
Level Editor
Because I developed the game alone and had to prioritize core systems, the Level Editor has been removed for now. If interest grows and the player base returns, I may rebuild it in the future.
Known Issues
The AI is still quite simple.
A rare physics bug may cause tanks to suddenly fly off the map.
Matchmaking has not been extensively tested yet.
Colors are not fully correct yet.
Only five game modes are currently available.
Game and weapon balance are not final.
There are only a few available settings options at the moment.
What’s Next
Here is what I will be focusing on after this release:
Gathering and implementing feedback from all of you
Adding more game modes and maps
Adding more weapons
Increasing the overall fun
Ongoing bug fixing and improvements
Thank you again for supporting Tiny Tanks. I am excited to hear your feedback and continue improving the game together.
