This patch has changes aimed at making the game more convenient to play. There's also some under-the-hood preparations for some spooky future content.
We've also updated the demo to match the current version and add support for Simplified Chinese. Give it a try before you buy!
CHANGES
- Spellcard Practice is now available all the time. Only Rin and Kasen can be used initially. To use the third player in spell practice, you need to start the game with them once.
- Spellcard Practice now shows you how many different spellcards you've captured. Can you capture all of them?
- Dialogue no longer progresses automatically! Take as long as you'd like to read the story.
- Several improvements were made to the Japanese translation.
- Extra Stage spellcard bonuses are no longer capped at 99 million points.
- Minor balance changes.
- Added a "Special" menu. This menu will be used in a future update and is currently inaccessible.
We held a poll on Twitter where you got to vote for the Stage 4 Midboss Fairy's name. The poll was very close so we decided to just use all four options.
- The stage 4 midboss fairy now has a name! Her name is different on each difficulty. Say hello to Harumi, or Fleya, or Iyubi, or Rosetta.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a few bugs related to the Options menu. It should now allow you to select every option and save your settings properly.
- Fixed some issues with bullets spawning at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Addressed a rare bug where save data could become corrupted. If corrupted data is detected, the game will avoid crashing and regenerate the corrupted file.
KNOWN ISSUES
- Replays may desync. Record your gameplay live if you want to be perfectly sure it's saved.
