Hypertrain Patch Notes — May 10, 2018

Wow! That was quite some week. Thanks everybody for your support! We're super motivated to make Hypertrain as good as it can be.
Here's the first official update which includes many suggestions and bug fixes as reported by you guys. Thanks for that!
Important: the Steam Overlay caused problems for some people. With this update the issues should be resolved. So you can safely turn on the Steam Overlay again. :)
New Features
- New terrain features: rivers and windmills.
- More variation in city styles and a new style.
- Zen mode. Totally relaxed driving: no traffic, no other hypertrains, no marauders, no obstacles.
- Screen resolution setting.
- Fog banks.
- Info bits are now shown in the loading screen.
Changes
- Cleaned up the new game dialog.
- Map Screen icons won't overlap anymore.
- Distant geometry now gently fades in.
- Settlements now start with random population sizes.
- Made compass look more like an actual compass.
- Added controls info in the Map Screen.
- Settlement details in Map Screen now show discovery bonus amounts.
- Changed the looks of coin items.
- Brake sound will not play anymore when braking at a speed below 100kmph.
- Decreased AI train firing distance and accuracy.
Fixes
- Steam overlay caused rendering artifacts.
- Jet engines upgrade was not activate until a new wagon was added.
- Screen sometimes turned black when travelling at very high speeds.
- Empty save file names crashed the game.
- Pressing ESC in the save dialog caused weird GUI issues.
- Map direction icon and compass icon were not in sync.
- Trains were sometimes respawned backwards.
- It was possible to delete a segment while driving forward.
