THE DAY Online Patch Notes — April 10, 2018

We'd like to start our patch news with an honest statement from developers before we get into the patch details.
The responses and result of The Day Online Open Beta was dramatically different from what we expected before we opened our doors. We were quite frankly shocked, as well as lost on how to proceed from that point on. The hurried last patch, which was our desperate attempt to remedy the situation, no doubt caused much confusion among our players.
Coming out of the initial shock, we held numerous and long internal discussions talking about the future of the game as well as what we have to do. And we found what we've lost along the way. When we founded the company, we were determined to make a game 'with our players' when the right time comes. However, the actions we've taken recently were not. We do realize it now.
We might not be able meet to our players' expectations in timely manner since we are a small company with limited resource, but we promise to do our best to hear our players and incorporate it within the game.
Lastly, the biggest mistake we made was to market our game as MOBA without thinking too much about what the genre actually entails. We wanted to create something new and unique, and the end result closely resembled MOBA on the surface, when actual game mechanic didn't. We are deeply sorry for players who felt disappointed expecting a traditional MOBA.
Patch List
- Sub-weapon system rolled back to the original system.
- All champions are temporarily unlocked to test champion balances across the board.
- Respawn delay increment value adjusted: 2 seconds for Resource Battle and 3 seconds for Downtown.
- Maximum respawn delay adjusted: 29 seconds for Resource Battle and 39 seconds for Downtown.
- Human male Warrior Skill 1 cooltime changed to 4 seconds from 3 seconds.
- Human female Tanker normal attack distance changed to 14.5 to 16.5.
- Fury male Tanker Skill 1 cooltime changed to 7 seconds from 5 seconds.
- Fury female Tanker Skill 1 cooltime changed to 10 seconds from 7 seconds.
- Fury female Warrior Skill 1 & 2 no longer ignore enemy defense.
- Dominus male Tanker skill 5 defense changed to 300 from 500.
- Dominus female Warrior normal attack distance changed to 14.5 from 16.5.
- Machina Warrior normal attack distance changed to 14.5 from 16.5
- Resource Battle: Fixed a bug where a character gets stuck on a wall.
- Added options to adjust music, effect, character volume.
* The game balance is subjected to change continuously as the test goes on.
