As we promised in our previous update and discussed during our recent live stream, we are sharing the preview version of 1.1.X update on Steam! We are incredibly happy to see how eager you are to jump into the new content.
⚠️ Warning: Experimental Build
Please keep in mind that this build has only been partially tested by our internal team. It may contain bugs that could potentially corrupt your save files or prevent further progression. We are sharing it with you early because you asked for it, and we trust our brave martian "madman-mode" community to help us spot the issues before the official release.
🚀 How to access the branch
If you are ready to jump in, you can access this build via Steam:
Right-click "Occupy Mars: The Game" in your Steam Library.
Select Properties.
Go to the Betas tab.
Select unstable_public_testing_risky from the dropdown menu.
💾 Important: Backup your saves!
Because this is an experimental version, please make sure to back up your current save files before playing. The game might overwrite or corrupt them. You can find your saves here: C:\\Users\\%username%\\AppData\\LocalLow\\PyramidGames\\OccupyMars\\SaveData
Please copy this folder to a safe location on your computer. Also, be aware that saves created in this experimental version will have a higher version number and will not work if you decide to revert to the public version of the game later.

⚠️ Major known Issues
Sleep loop in workshop (rare remaining cases).
Incorrect mission display on HUD in introbase (main quests are counted correctly, but the HUD displays info about optional missions instead of main questline if main questline had been performed in a non-default order).
Desynchronization in Co-op mode (several cases of desync between players regarding different parameters).
Minor inconsistencies in Chemlab tanks when recalculating and extracting resources from bottles.
Client character cloning in the Mars Truck (sometimes occurs when the client spams entering/exiting or switching seats, which blocks the driver's seat).
Truck under ground (the vehicle may occasionally spawn under the terrain if the player has an accident in the caves of Olympus Mons).
