👉🚧 Smoother Systems & Better Performance! 🚧👍
Junkyard Simulator Patch Notes — April 24, 2026
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Dear Junkers! 🔧😄
This update focuses heavily on performance improvements, stability, and quality of life changes across many core systems of the game. While it may not seem flashy at first glance, a lot has been improved under the hood to make the overall experience smoother, more responsive, and less prone to stuttering.
You should notice better performance on the parcel, improved vehicle behavior (especially around the overpass), and more stable interactions with machines and objects. We’ve also addressed several bugs related to saving/loading, UI, and gameplay flow, along with adding a few small but meaningful improvements like running with items and cleaner tool management.
As always — this is part of ongoing development. More updates, optimizations, and redesigns are on the way. Thank you for your support and for helping shape the game! 💪

⚙️ Parcel & Movement Optimization
Core gameplay on the parcel has been improved for better performance:
• Optimized parcel areas and object interactions — no more FPS drops during interactions
• Optimized Areas A and D of the parcel
• Optimized renovation work on the parcel
• Improved movement across the parcel — transitioning between areas is now less demanding on your PC
• Optimized item refresh/spawn system on the parcel
• Reduced overall stuttering (major improvements on the overpass and parcel areas)
• Fixed FPS drops when manually collecting items
• Added better wall highlighting after using the scanner on the parcel
• Improved visibility of wreck unloading zones

• Added collision safety after teleporting vehicles to prevent overlap with other vehicles
• Fixed a crash that could occur while driving the tow truck (especially on the overpass)

🏭 Machines & Processing
Key machines used in your daily workflow have received performance improvements:
• Removed skill requirement for enabling automation on the Car Lift and Car Body Packaging Machine
• Removed the skill related to automatic Car Lift usage
• Fixed effects and improved performance when completing item processing (resource output/destruction effects)
• Blocked the ability to reset the crusher while inserting a completed scrap cube

🧠 Systems & UI
General systems and interface elements have also been improved:
• Optimized quest NPC behavior
• Optimized parcel icon behavior on the main map \
• Fixed an issue where the map could not be closed after entering Save Game (M / gamepad Y now works correctly)
• Fixed cursor visibility when using a gamepad during dismantling
• Added explanation for the Stamina system in the options menu (clarifies it does not affect movement speed)

🛠️ Gameplay & Quality of Life
• Fixed an issue with outdated renovation item lists on the parcel
• Fixed restored materials issue for Pickup 1950 and Blue Car after saving/loading the game
• Fixed disappearing ground (paving) near the Car Lift at the start of the game

🚀 What’s next
1. A few hotfix updates and polishing of features I didn’t manage to include yet (coming within the next 2 weeks)
2. Next, I’ll be focusing on redesigning core mechanics based on your feedback to make the gameplay more intuitive and enjoyable. After that, I’ll move on to adding new languages and fresh content to the game.
🙏 Thank you
Big thanks for all your feedback and support — it really helps shape the future of the game 💛

The game is constantly being developed — I strongly recommend checking the integrity of the game files!
