World of Speed Patch Notes — December 21, 2018
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.

Hello everyone!
It’s been a while since we have posted any updates. It is time to share some news from the development team.
As you may know, the World of Speed is closing, with its servers being shut down on December 25th this year. The decision to stop this project was very hard to take for all of us, but circumstances can just get the better of us sometimes. Still, making great games is our passion and we do not intend to stop - rather we prefer to start again and from scratch.
World of Speed was a unique project with a lot of potentials. Unfortunately, it also came with very special demands and restrictions that weren’t always easy to handle. With all the things we’ve learned from this project, we now have to move forward and try even better. With new experience and skills as well as your amazing feedback that helped us to grow, we are looking forward to work on the independent online racing project. It will be not just a World of Speed reboot - we have something special in our minds, unrestricted by imposed limitations and external influence.
Upon deactivation of World of Speed servers, the game will be taken off Steam Store. If you like to stay in touch with the team and receive updates on our upcoming projects, you can get all important news, status updates and developer highlights via email. We will also reserve best in-game bonuses in our upcoming projects for our most loyal players as a special “thank you” from the team.
