McOsu Patch Notes — February 20, 2026

- \ Starting with this version (33.14), the legacy 32-bit OpenGL build will only be used for VR
- \ The Steam launch option "Play on Desktop" has been updated to use the 64-bit DirectX11 build for all players
- \ Executable names have not changed, so if you are launching the game externally without Steam then everything is the same
- \ Added proper in-game console window with log scrollback (Options > Maintenance > Console)
- \ Added Options > Maintenance > Console > "Prefer Window instead of Textbox" (for SHIFT + F1 hotkey combo)
- \ Upgraded to 64-bit executable based on new engine version and modern toolchain
- \ Improved DX11 rendering performance across the board
- \ Fixed DX11 exclusive fullscreen breaking after ALT+TAB when launched through Steam (no more ALT+ENTER required)
- \ Fixed "Use slidergradient.png" not working on DX11
- \ Upgraded to new OpenGL 3.3 core renderer and new engine version (previously legacy OpenGL compatibility context)
- \ Upgraded build environment and minimum glibc version from Ubuntu 18 to 20 (anything older is no longer supported)
- \ Added support for raw input and mouse sensitivity adjustments
- \ Added multi-monitor handling support (game remembers now)
- Improved slider rendering performance at higher resolutions (reduced rt blending overdraw)
- Updated user switcher to sort names alphabetically
- Updated cursortrail handling to reduce spam while click-seeking via the scrubbing timeline
- Fixed game extremely rarely randomly starting with dimmed colors/overlay
- Fixed button text not being centered sometimes under certain DPI/UI scaling conditions
- Fixed spinnerspin/sliderslide sounds sometimes getting stuck playing indefinitely when changing skins while they are playing
