MAJOR HOTFIX: Connection Fix!

As many of you have reported, a serious connection issue recently affected players. After investigating, we found that Steam maintenance on Tuesday the 10th caused some backend issues with our user stats. It seems Querying steam from the game server (how we've always done it) is now returning a 'fail' response. Nothing on our end has changed. The team jumped on this immediately and we’ve now released a hotfix patch that should resolve the issue.
Steam Support
Getting reactive help from Steam is next to impossible. Tickets can sometimes take days to get an answer. We’ve had to do a major rework on our side to fix an issue caused by something that has changed on Steam's side. A query to the steam API that has been working for many years is now returning a fail and causing the disconnect issue.
