Hiiro Patch Notes — July 12, 2017
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Hey everyone!
Real talk: Hiiro was originally made in an old-school version of GameMaker, and 8 years later, it shows. Lots of players have been reporting glitches with the save system, music system, and controller support, to name a few.
That’s why I've spent the last month porting Hiiro into the newest version of GameMaker: Studio!
This is a major update, and we are hoping it fixes essentially ALL of the issues that have have been reported over the last year, including glitches related to the save system, music system, game engine, controller support, and hopefully even those frustrating unexpected errors.
Additionally, the game now includes Steam achievements and an option to start a new game!
When we first started work on Hiiro in 2009, we were a few high school kids making a game for fun. We never dreamed this many people would play it, and still be downloading it years later! We’re delighted that so many people have enjoyed our game, and we hope this update allows even more people to do so.
Cheers,
Jon
