Pyramid Raid Patch Notes — October 26, 2015
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Version 0.5.1
We will update at 1500 Munich time to a new version:
Mummy Auto-Run has been disabled
The number one requested change has been to turn off the mummy’s auto-run (a.k.a. Perma-Run). With this version, we have.
For the mummy to move now, you must press and hold either the left/right arrow key on the keyboard or the left/right controllers on your gamepad. When you release, the mummy will stop instantly in almost all cases. In a few cases, he will continue for a step or two. This is more in line with other jump ‘n run games.
Controllers Note: We have tested this inhouse with the Xbox controllers and have had no issues. However, the Playstation 4 controller still seems to have problems, so be warned. We’re on it, ːsteamhappyː.
Movement controls tightened
We have tightened the movement of the mummy, improving its responsiveness to the controls and lessening momentum on slides. Most of this occurred simply by removing Auto-Run.
Menu Items Renamed
My Pyramid has been renamed to Level Editor (both EN and DE)
Player Raids has been renamed to Player Levels (EN) / Spieler Level (DE)
Level Packs remains unchanged
Tooltips, Round 1: Descriptive text boxes have been added to some menu items. You’ll see these as click boxes featuring characters from the game (Seth the Mosquito and Frank the Scarab).
