Patch Notes 31 Aug 2016
Trackday Manager News — August 31, 2016
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Custom Mode
Customize a single race or select from 2 up to 20 tracks to be played in succession as a Cup. You may individually modify the number of laps from 1 to 255 for each track.
Play by yourself or with bots and or other players that either join your public lobby or get invited to your private race.
Custom mode has no effect on stats or sponsors. You need to play quick race or cup to earn money and experience.
New AI opponents
Added four new AI opponents all using Volare GT
- Curse Motorsport
- Re-Roll Racing
- Team RazorSecure
- RS-R Racing
AI adjustments
- Tweaked AI so they are a bit more aggressive.
- Cars now slow down when blocked from entering pit. This should reduce the chance of a pitting car pushing a non-pitting car into the pit area.
- Made AI participants use upgrades that fit together (for example acceleration transmission when using high downforce parts).
- AI participants upgrade and skill budget now scale with average score of the players in the race.
Performance improvements
- Improved physics performance, especially when cars are in the pit area.
- Reduced performance impact of rain effect.
Track Changes
- Arctic Hazard Raceway now has a black background inside the mountain so it looks less jarring when the camera is inside it.
Demo Changes
- You now have 3 extra races to spend at the beginning allowing for 5 races in quick succession before needing to wait before doing another race. You still only have 2 races that recharges.
Bug fixes
- Outline is fixed in first person view.
- Medal slide animation at end of race now animates in order.
- Cars no longer act silly at the start the race after a qualify lap.
- Nameplates are no longer left hanging at the beginning of qualify lap.
