Tiamat X Patch Notes — August 8, 2015
Aggregated from Steam, cross-tracked with Battle.net coverage on GamePatchNote.
Later on this weekend we intend to release a new build of Tiamat X (1.4). This new build addresses the following issues:
- Addition of flashing projectiles (bolts).
- With autofire enabled, pressing fire stops shooting.
- Player ship moves slowly back to idle rather than snapping back to idle.
- Windowed games are now allowed.
- Between level story picture and text added.
- Keyboard controls are now configurable.
- Various bug fixes & code enhancements.
We have noticed a few gamers have mentioned the keyboard controls not working correctly and that they are unable to move diagonally when using the keyboard. This is not caused by the game itself, but is caused by something called keyboard ghosting. We highly recommend the use of a game controller with Tiamat X. If you are interested in finding out more about keyboard ghosting, have a look at this explanation: http://www.microsoft.com/appliedsciences/AntiGhostingExplained.mspx
We will also be introducing a new branch called "Previous", which will allow you access to the previous version of the game after we have rolled out the new version. We have done this so that you are able to effectively roll back to the previous version if you are having any technical issues with 1.4 which does not allow you to play the game. Please note that with subsequent updates we will update the "Previous" branch and therefore this will always be one version back from the current so it is important for you to let us know if you have any issues with the new release.
Whilst we have not specifically carried out any changes to address the Linux version launch issues in 1.4, we recommend that you try the new release to see if your issues are resolved and report back to us.
