EARLY ACCESS 0.7About the GameEARLY ACCESS 0.7Assetto Corsa EVO 0.7 introduces a milestone update of the Early Access cycle, featuring a brand-new particle system that brings smoke, dust, dirt, spray and impact effects into the driving experience, the first official release of the Assetto Corsa EVO - SDK dedicated Steam app, new multiplayer-oriented functionalities and a broad range of simulation focused, renderer, audio and gameplay refinements. This is a release built to expand what players can do within the Assetto Corsa EVO ecosystem.NEW PARTICLE SYSTEM – With release 0.7 thanks to the newly introduced particle system, tyre smoke now properly reacts to wheel spin, slides and drift work, dirt and gravel generate dynamic debris off-track, while wet conditions and collisions now deliver a more grounded and immersive visual response.ASSETTO CORSA EVO SDK APP - Version 0.7 also marks the first official step toward community-driven content creation in Assetto Corsa EVO. Dedicated to experienced and technically skilled creators, the Dedicated to experienced and technically skilled creators, the SDK application allows users to produce custom vehicles using a production pipeline closely aligned with the same technologies used internally by the development team at KUNOS Simulazioni. This first release focuses on car creation and represents the beginning of a longer-term evolution toward a more open, expandable and long-living platform. The Assetto Corsa EVO SDK app is available to all Assetto Corsa EVO users.DAILY RACING PORTAL SAFETY RATING - Alongside release 0.7, an all-new Safety Rating System (EVO SR) has been deployed on the official Daily Racing Portal - the official multiplayer companion website of Assetto Corsa EVO. This new system has been designed to reward close and respectful racing rather than simply avoiding contact in clean air, inviting players to become very good racers, and save them from boring and over-safe driving, away from the group. About Assetto Corsa EVO Assetto Corsa EVO raises the bar of realism that has made the franchise one of the most popular driving simulations of the last decade even higher. As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world. Each vehicle is reproduced through Kunos in-house physics and graphic engine simulating mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance, combined with the fidelity of the circuits created using Laserscan technology.Throughout Early Access, you will experience a continuously expanding range of vehicles, tracks, and game modes, evolving towards our full 1.0 launch. With the launch of a new KUNOS Simulazioni proprietary, high-performance photorealistic engine, VR and triple screen support have become first-class features and the new mathematical model meticulously simulates asphalt performance in different dynamic weather conditions that guarantees an authentic and realistic experience which will redefine the standards that have made Assetto Corsa globally renowned.EARLY ACCESS 0.7 CONTENTSNEW CONTENTCarsAudi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIDatsun 240Z (S30)Porsche 935 (2019)Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport Evo (991II)Headline featuresRelease of Assetto Corsa EVO Editor ToolsBrand-new particle system: smoke, dirt, dust, spray and impact effectsCORE IMPROVEMENTS AND ONGOING DEVELOPMENTRenderer / GraphicsNew GPU-feedback texture streaming pipelineTexture quality video settingImproved vegetation streaming stabilityReduced streaming-induced stutterIndirect specular lighting improvementsCloud shadow improvementsFog and reflection rendering refinementsImproved volumetric rendering behaviourAdditional shading and subsurface scattering fixesAudioLotus Exige V6 new interior soundsToyota Supra RZ full sound overhaul:InteriorExteriorTurboBackfiresToyota Supra drift variant engine reworkFMOD project updateRefreshed horn sounds Physics / HandlingCaster adjustment fix on certain suspension configurationsBMW M3 E46 engine inertia tweaksToyota GR86 refreshed default setupVW Golf 8 GTI adjusted power figuresBMW M3 E30 and Mercedes-Benz 190E balancing passDynamic Track and Dynamic Weather calibration improvementsMultiplayerMechanical variant and Performance Index added to results dumpTuning filter addedRestart-session command now repairs all carsUI / ControlsCar specs sheet on mechanical variant selection screenCustomization category improvementsMissing material edit box fixOn-the-fly H-shifter disable bindingFunctional player number platesGeneral / StabilityGameplay logic and architectural code revisionDelta time handling improvements while pausedReplay movable object interpolation fixesSession exit crash fixesExit-to-desktop stats handling fixesGeneral stability and backend improvementsEARLY ACCESS 6 CONTENTNew CarsGTAudi R8 LMS GT4 EvoFerrari 296 GT3Ferrari 288 GTOFord Mustang GT3Porsche 911 GT3 R rennsportRoadLamborghini CountachNew TrackSebring International RacewayCore Improvements and Ongoing DevelopmentGameplay / Physics / Ongoing developmentImproved suspension modelling, including multilink, coilover and bumpstop behaviour updates.Improved multiplayer collisions through updated timing and prediction logic.Official MoTeC telemetry support and updated shared memory output.Further tyre, damper, telemetry and setup work across the car roster.Updated AI track modelling and ongoing CPU performance optimisation.Pit stop, penalty, weather and track-limits-related improvements.MultiplayerRelease of self-hostable game servers.Introducing a downloadable server executable via Steam.Allowing users to host their own game servers with basic configuration options.AudioImproved reverb behaviour, especially in underpasses and enclosed spaces.More distinctive sound treatment for selected cars.Advanced multichannel management and additional startup / vehicle-specific sounds.UIRevised car selection page applied consistently across key menus.Updated controls page organised by input type.Additional usability improvements for setup, replay and customization flows. It enables capturing replays and screenshots or videos using external tools. The mode is still in development and more features, such as photo-mode features, will follow at a later stage based on community feedback. Graphics & Technology Updates – DLSS 4.5 0.5 includes an update to DLSS 4.5, continuing the work on performance scalability and image quality across a wider range of hardware configurations. The aim remains consistent: make steps towards the best quality to performance ratio. Gameplay Improvements and Ongoing Development UI: Car Selection Flow & Multiplayer Player Car, Controls Page Thanks to an improved car selection UI and backend multiplayer updates, server admins and the Daily Racing Portal can now define eligible cars more precisely—down to version and visuals—allowing players to join Daily Races using their own tuned cars and body colours. Track Limits and Blue Flags Track limit penalties can feel harsh or unpredictable, so in 0.5 we’re continuing work on a time-gain evaluation system to better match penalties with actual advantage. This feature is still being tested and will roll out fully once it meets competitive standards. Blue flag logic has also been introduced to help drivers better read race conditions. Shared Memory improvements Shared memory issues have been fixed to match previous titles, prevent hardware shaking during loading, and restore full data quality for motion rigs and related devices. Dynamic Track: rework underway Dynamic Track is being reworked to improve rubber buildup, water behaviour, multiplayer support, and server sync. Version 0.5 brings rubbering visual shader upgrades, while core improvements will arrive later—consider this an essential infrastructure update with more visible results coming soon.
