General:
-Engine has been upgraded, should result in smoother performance across the board
-Added a graphics option to reduce the intensity of your weapons visual effects
-Increased the contrast of enemy projectiles to make them easier to see
-Adjusted enemy death visual effects to reduce screen clutter
-Added a small animation to the level timer when it is counting down the last handful of seconds
-You can no longer select Modules with the right mouse button when leveling up (to prevent accidental selection)
-You can now cancel the endless stats window at any point during its animation, and a prompt has been added for it
-Added a simple loading screen when starting the game from the menu
Gameplay:
-Added a new enemy, the Atomic Slime
-Added a new Weapon System
-Added two new Modules
-Increased the number of early game enemies, and reduced their health (dps required remains unchanged, you just have more enemies to kill now)
-Buffed Railgun (reduced cooldown)
-Slightly reduced Revolver cooldown and damage (dps relatively unchanged)
-Added a 6th rank for the Addon that grants upgrade banishes
-Increased the health of the BFG slightly
-Increased the size of the safe zone around the player where enemies cannot spawn
-Slightly rebalanced the cost of a few Upgrades
-Increased the base duration of the Decoy module
Fixes:
-Fixed a tile that was not supposed to be a slime hazard but was acting like a slime hazard in an endless map
-Reinstated a missing VFX in the menu
-A number of optimizations mainly aimed at VRAM usage and reducing possible fps dips
-Fixed a bug where the correct gameobject wasnt selected for interaction when swapping between gamepad and mouse controls if the Joker Module picker was open in the menu
-A number of small bugs have been fixed
