We are celebrating the 28th anniversary of our beloved game in a special way. Years of work have been completed: the game now features a frame rate of 60 FPS.
Experience the delivery of goods, raffa hunting, participation in ritual races, cirt collecting, and much more on a whole new level.
Switching between the old and new FPS occurs in the Graphics settings.
Moreover, we fixed a ton of bugs (many of them have been lurking in the depths of the code since the game's inception!)

The update contains the following changes:

1. 60 FPS support.
The game has been optimized to run smoothly with a higher frame rate.
2. Network fixes.
- Fixed a crash when trying to press the "silence everyone" button with a long chat history;
- Player list desync during online play;
- Freezing/losing response when traveling between worlds;
- Fixed a client crash when traveling between worlds and losing/breaking the connection;
- Deleted mechos disappearing after world-switch/delete;
- Fixed incorrect visibility radius for online mechos at high resolutions;
- Fixed incorrect winner verification in online Mechosome mode;
- Fixed a crash when entering input in online chat after closing/changing the chat state;
- Fixed crashes due to outdated mechos/device references during disconnect/world-switch;
- Updated the C++ multiplayer protocol to version 5;
- Improved diagnostics of client and server network problems;
- Fixed handling of reconnect/restore scripts;
- Reduced the accumulation of outdated network updates and decreased latency in multiplayer;
- Fixed the loss of player items upon death/exit/transition between worlds;
- Reworked synchronization of network items between the client and the Rust server;
- Added a clear warning for incompatible network protocol versions;
- Updated the network protocol for new client-server fixes.
3. Fixed crashes related to the cargo hold and escape UI.
- Fixed crashes due to outdated item/device owner references;
- Fixed incorrect slot checks when moving/burying items;
- Disabled confirmation of mechos purchases while the player is holding the item;
- Fixed a bug with the Heavy Lady slot where some slots remained unoccupied, even when fully loaded;
- Fixed a crash when purchasing a mechos and then clicking "Abort Game" in the pause menu without exiting the escape UI.
- Fixed incorrect item ejection direction from the cargo hold in HD resolution;
- Fixed item image sticking when simultaneously closing the cargo hold and placing an item;
- Fixed accidental immediate exit from Escape after death in multiplayer;
- Activating Vector no longer duplicates weapons and resets the shooting cooldown.
4. Tabutask and game event fixes.
- Fixed Tabutask rewards that were mismatched;
- Fixed tabutask from Lampasso for continuous flight to the Ogorod: the Tabutask completion zone is now in the correct location;
- Fixed a crash when performing Lampasso Tabutask for winning the Nuclear War on a Raffa;
- Fixed a crash when performing VigBu's Tabutask for winning the Nuclear War on a Raffa;
- Fixed a crash when performing the Ogorod tabutask to win the Peepshow on a Raffa;
- Fixed a crash when performing the Ogorod tabutask to win the Peepshow on a Queen Frog;
- Fixed a bug that prevented the completion of tabutasks for bringing someone else's cirt;
- Fixed a softlock when completing the Parapheen quest before visiting Spobs;
- The cooldown for a broken station is no longer reset when opening and closing the hold;
- Fixed a crash when moving to an xMok in Passemblos multiplayer;
- Fixed the "Beeb Festival" Protractor's function.
5. Interface Fixes.
- Pressing Esc again while paused returns to the game;
- Fixed the sidebar rendering after partially reverting an old change;
- Tooltips in HD resolution are no longer cut off at the right edge of the screen;
- The list of graphic options has been moved up one line;
- The game ending texts have been aligned.
6. Graphics/Rendering Fixes.
- Fixed a visual artifact on large mechos when zooming in/tilting the camera;
- Improved visibility of the Makhotin projectile at high resolutions;
- The Makhotin projectile now displays correctly when taking into account camera zoom;
- Fixed loading and playback of VOT/mobile-location animations on Unix/Linux;
- Fixed terrain corruption after interrupting surface animations;
- Fixed mushroom growth animations playing too quickly in multiplayer;
- Restored the correct mushroom detonation speed.
7. Physics/Gameplay Fixes.
- Fixed a rare instance of mechos teleporting to negative coordinates near the horizontal world boundary;
- Fixed a mechos getting stuck/fading in anomalous quicksand on Xplo;
8. Sound Fixes.
- Fixed the sound playback logic for the Vertibird propeller and engine;
- The "Beeb Festival" Protractor's function no longer mutes the sounds of mechos colliding with obstacles or other mechos;
- Fixed the sound effect for the "Method-83" Protractor's function;
- Fixed the sound effect for the "Fence" Protractor's function.
9. Data and Text Corrections.
- Fixed typos in Russian-language legacy texts;
- Rebuilt diagen.text;
- Updated the credits list: added Richter Klinn and John Tomson;
- Removed an extra logo on the last credits page that was overlapping the text.
10. Compatibility/Build.
- Fixed FFmpeg AVI compatibility;
- Improved the build system
